Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the web application Quinfer (“Web App”) provided by the developer, Devang Wangde (“Developer,” “I,” or “me”). By accessing or using the Web App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not access or use the Web App.
1. Acceptance of Terms
- By creating an account or using Quinfer, you affirm that you are legally capable of entering into this agreement and will comply with all applicable laws.
- These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“Teacher/User”) and the Developer.
2. Teacher Accounts & Use
2.1. Registration: Teachers register using Google Authentication or Email/Password Authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activity therein.
2.2. Student Participation: Students join diagnostic quiz sessions via unique codes. No student accounts are required. Teachers are responsible for managing student access and session security.
3. AI Actions & Pro Plan
3.1. AI Actions: Quinfer uses "AI Actions" for quiz generation and response analysis. Free users are granted a daily limit of 2 AI Actions.
3.2. Pro Subscription: The Pro plan unlocks 100 AI Actions monthly and advanced analysis features. Subscriptions are processed through Gumroad and are subject to Gumroad’s billing policies and billing cycles.
4. Educational Content & AI Accuracy
4.1. AI-Generated Material: Quinfer utilizes generative AI to create assessments, analyses, and reteaching plans. While we strive to provide high-quality outputs, the Developer does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or pedagogical suitability of AI-generated content. Teachers are responsible for reviewing all materials before classroom use.
4.2. Data Storage: Assessments and responses may be stored in your browser’s local storage and synced to secure cloud storage for authenticated users.
5. Code of Conduct
Users agree to:
- Use Quinfer solely for legitimate educational and diagnostic purposes;
- Refrain from attempting to circumvent AI usage limits or security protocols;
- Ensure that student participation complies with local school or district policies.
6. Intellectual Property
- Ownership: All proprietary technology, AI prompts, and software logic of Quinfer are owned solely by the Developer.
- Usage: Users are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the generated assessments for their own classroom instruction.
7. Disclaimers & Liability
- Quinfer is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. The Developer is not liable for data loss resulting from cleared browser caches, user error, or account issues.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Developer shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damages arising from classroom use of the service.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
9. Termination
The Developer reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to Quinfer at any time if a user violates these Terms or attempts to misuse the service.
